FTC Fraud Report

Reporting fraud to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov to aid enforcement and warn others.

The FTC collects fraud reports through ReportFraud.ftc.gov, feeding the Consumer Sentinel database used by law enforcement. Reporting will not usually recover your money, but it strengthens cases and helps map emerging scams.

For identity theft specifically, use IdentityTheft.gov, which also builds a personalized recovery plan.
