In a reshipping scheme, the “employee” receives packages at home and forwards them abroad. The merchandise was purchased with stolen credit cards, and the victim is laundering physical goods — the parcel equivalent of a money mule.
Victims are usually never paid, and may face law-enforcement scrutiny for handling stolen property.
